"We danced, sang & smiled all afternoon!"
Ailean Henry, Activity Coordinator, Burcot Grange Residential Care Home
Inspired by the Great British seaside, Somewhere on Sea is a fun-filled, interactive show made especially for care homes settings. Think deck chairs, beach balls, a stick of rock and pesky seagulls!
It blends a classic vintage and modern-day seaside feel, with performers bringing striped Victorian bathing suits, jelly shoes and fantastical seaside themed props and singing and dancing along to favourites including Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside and Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.
Somewhere on Sea toured care homes between 2019-2021, and it was adapted accordingly to bring much needed bursts of joy to care home residents during COVID restrictions.
Reviews
